Counselling/Psychotherapy

Individuals

Nothing gets better by ignoring it.

Quite often we sit with problems and rather than deal with them we focus on other things, or we try to make the concerns go away by compensating with food, exercise, drugs or behaviours that can become damaging.  Meanwhile, the problems do not go away, they merely become larger and more varied and we allow ourselves to get dragged into a downward spiral.

One to one counselling and psychotherapy gives you the opportunity to openly talk about problems that are affecting your life right now without worrying about upsetting anyone or having to be diplomatic for fear of the reaction of others around you.

The type of problems people bring to counsellors are as follows:

  • Lack of confidence/self esteem issues
  • Problems at work
  • Relationship problems
  • Lack of direction
  • Depression
  • Addictions
  • Eating Disorders
  • Panic or Anxiety attacks
  • Feeling trapped in a situation that was once good
  • Struggling with Change

Some problems stem from years back, some are more recent and whatever the problem you will only be able to move on from it if you address it directly with the help of an experienced counsellor.
